The Story
The most complex fragrance in the Altieri collection, Cenere e Oro took four years and over sixty iterations to complete. The challenge was the saffron — a material that can easily dominate — balanced against a cistus absolute that brings a leathery, almost animalic warmth. The result is a fragrance of contradictions: austere and sensual, ancient and immediate.
